Cottage Nuance by Fabric™ is an independent handmade textile art brand based in East Atlantic Beach, New York, USA. We sell one-of-a-kind heirloom bookmarks, slow stitch kits, fabric collage pieces, and related textile art through cottagenuance.com.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our site or systems
- Reproduce, copy, or resell any part of our website or its content without our written permission
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our website
3. PRODUCTS & THE HANDMADE NATURE OF OUR WORK
All items are made by hand. Many are entirely one of a kind and will never be reproduced. Slight variation in colour, texture, size, and finishing is a natural and expected part of the handmade process and is not considered a defect.
Product photographs are taken carefully to represent each item accurately. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If an error is discovered after your order is placed, we will contact you before proceeding.
Payment is collected at checkout. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay through our secure Shopify checkout. We do not store your payment details.
5. ORDERS & CANCELLATIONS
Once an order is placed and payment confirmed, it enters our production queue. Because most items are made to order:
- Cancellations requested within 24 hours of purchase may be accommodated at our discretion
- Cancellations after 24 hours cannot be guaranteed once production has begun
- Custom or personalised orders cannot be cancelled once work has started

Please see our full Return & Refund Policy for complete details. In summary: we do not accept returns for change of mind. We will assist with items that arrive damaged or significantly not as described, provided you contact us within 3 days of delivery with photographs.
7. THE SEASONAL STITCH — SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
By subscribing to The Seasonal Stitch monthly bookmark subscription, you agree to the following:
- Month-to-month subscribers may cancel before the next billing cycle without penalty
- Annual subscribers commit to a 12-month term; annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the first shipment
- Bookmarks ship on the 15th of each month; it is your responsibility to keep your address and payment details current
- The Collector's Binder included with annual subscriptions is non-returnable
- Exact replacement of a lost or damaged one-of-a-kind bookmark cannot be guaranteed
- We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 30 days' written notice to active subscribers

9. CUSTOMER PHOTOS & REVIEWS
By submitting a photo, review, or testimonial to us — via email, social media, or our website — you grant Cottage Nuance by Fabric™ a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for marketing purposes including on our website and social media. We will credit you by first name or username unless you request otherwise.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cottage Nuance by Fabric™ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the item in question.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States of America. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York.
12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
