Because every piece in our shop is made entirely by hand — and many are one of a kind — our return policy reflects the nature of what we make. Please read carefully before placing your order.

OUR POLICY

We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Each item leaves our studio with care and intention, and because most pieces are one of a kind, we are unable to resell returned items.

We do accept return or refund requests in the following circumstances only:

- Your item arrives visibly damaged due to transit
- Your item is significantly different from what was described or photographed in the listing
- Your order arrives incomplete (missing items)

HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND OR RETURN

If your order qualifies under the above, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at cottagenuance.com/pages/contact with:

1. Your order number
2. A description of the issue
3. Clear photographs of the item and its packaging

We will review your request and respond within 2 to 3 business days. Requests submitted after 3 days of delivery may not be eligible.

WHAT WE OFFER

Depending on the situation, we may offer:

- A full or partial refund to your original payment method
- Store credit
- A replacement item where possible (please note: exact replacements cannot be guaranteed for one-of-a-kind pieces)

Refunds, if approved, are processed within 5 to 7 business days. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or card provider.

WHAT WE DO NOT COVER

We are unable to offer refunds or returns for:

- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Colour variation due to differences between screens and devices
- Slight variation in texture, size, or finishing that is natural to the handmade process
- Items damaged after delivery due to customer handling or improper care
- Subscription boxes that have already been dispatched
